Winter Rose.

Every night, after the kids are in bed, the house is picked up, and all my work is done for the day....

I find solace outside on my front porch.

Wrapped tightly in a warm blanket, hands holding a cup of hot chamomile tea, I sip my drink and I BREATHE. BREATHE. BREATHE.

Let the stress of the day out. Enjoy a moment, and be grateful for life. My lovely red rose bush is always there to greet me. This is what she looked like this morning.

My sweet boy. Age 3.

Rockwell David is celebrating his third birthday tomorrow. It will be a day full of toys, cakes, friends and parties.

But quietly inside, I celebrate Rockwell being a cherished part of our family.

How grateful I am to have him in my life.

When Rockwell was born I literally gasped when I saw him for the first time. His beautiful little face was perfect in every way. I was smitten from day one.

Fast forward 3 years, and here he is, my most beloved little boy. Beautiful as ever, Sweet as ever. And every bit his mama's little guy.
